Thank you for this informative video response to your high deductible health plan video. I have heard of medical tourism or medical travel but it was mainly for individuals and I was unaware employers were beginning to do this. Domestic medical travel makes a lot of sense. I can’t believe the cost differences! They are so substantial!

Medical tourism began with cosmetic surgery performed abroad. Traditionally it was for the uninsured and under-insured; however, recently many large corporations have begun realizing the potential for cost savings. Thank you for your comment!
