You can make money doing commercial diving in freshwater. Back to your original question, I asked what type of diving your were looking to do because that would dictate where to seek an education/training in it. Louisiana (Morgan City and the like) has some very active commercial diving firms and I believe at least one school. On the other hand, if you just want to scuba dive (fresh or sea water), just open the yellow pages for a local dive shop. They all offer recreational training.

Oh okay, Thank you for that information. I would rather freshwater dive but I’m just looking for something to fall back on. But I will look into it thank you.

there is something strange, what is that white thing that passes by at arround 1:41, there is the ship and the diver, but something crosses from left to right.

small particle in the water. Could be any of a number of tiny living marine animals. That stuff is seen by the diver, but because of the focus setting on the vid cam, it is rarely caught by the camera… this is done on purpose and helps to give a MUCH clearer picture than what is seen by the diver (IOW, real visibilty is less than what the camera records—we call it the magic camera…:-)…)
