I sutter to think that there are a few out there (you know who you are) that think that by watching an expert you can go sailing….
The answer is “YOU CAN”T!!!!!!!!” But they can teach you…and there is nothing better than sailing!

Sailing is difficult, but it is 100% possible for novices to get out on a small catamaran sailboat and have a freaking blast, just learn how to get it back upright because you will most likely tip it, lol.

It’s at least good to learn terminology and some techniques from watching them. Then you combine hands-on with what you might have learned, and you could be set!

bigger and more modern the boat the easier it is, there are usually always someone at the docks w ho will take you out, 4 days time with the book as a backdrop your sailing, you dont need to spend 4k in classes to do it.

thats really interesting that with bigger boatsize it all gets easier, quote!
will tell the boatowner to get a huge one so his grandkids can navigate too!
you start with the small boats and work your way up and never rely on somebody to stand at the dock and give you a hand, that doesnt work
when you need it the most,..and respect the sea and moving waters.
