what a great team. you had Battier, who probably won’t be an NBA all-star but is a James Posey-type of role player every good team needs, Williams, who if not for the injury would be at least a solid starting point guard, Dunleavy, the Most Improved Player last year, Duhon, a solid starting point, and of course Boozer, who won a gold medal this summer. you probably won’t see a team with this much NBA talent for a LONG time.

Needs more Jason williams highlights

I’d love it to have more J-Will. Problem is, this is just footage from the championship game and J-Will struggled a bit…not a lot of highlight footage.

99 team was much better

no no no my friend the 99 team lost to freakin uconn hel no this team got it done with the real fab five Chris Duhon,Jason Williams,Mike Dunleavy,Shane Battier and Carlos Boozer that was the freakin team and all of them stayed for four years thats even more impressive

They were awesome…but Boozer, Williams and Dunleavy all left early

No the 99 team was just full of star power and didn’t have the chemistry the 2001 team had. I love the 99 team, but the 2001 team came through in games and even if they played bad, together they found a way to win.

Duke should have won it all in 86 and 99, but it wasn’t meant to be. They came up short, but I’m glad we have our 3 championships, and more to come.
