Do you have any ideas how how to keep food cost down when you are trying to eat better & lose weight? Any ideas would be appreciated. P.S.soy proteins give me hives, but I love Whey Powder. Your videos are really informative!

Hi Nikki,
I am definitely guided by thriftiness–esp. these days! Even though I’m not vegetarian, I’ve founded that eating mostly vegetarian makes it so much easier to eat healthfully and on a tight budget. Frozen fruits & some veg(blueberries, cherries, shelled edamame, broccoli florets, frozen greens like spinach), yogurt, whole grains (bulgur, quinoa, brown rice), canned beans, lentils, then lots of herbs and spices for flavor(buy in bulk at natural food stores–soooo cheap!). Good luck!
