Here is the issue with those two, the genesis hurts like a mother fucker and is top of the line with the 6 cylinder in their performance, the v-8 will beat the genesis isn a straight line, the 370z is overpriced as hell so thats why the camaro is the winner

You are probably right, I had just heard that the previous generation GT500 had a very primitive suspension and that Roush did a very good job of upgrading it. This one is probably much different and they did say had been upgraded by the SVT. Don’t get me wrong, this car is sweet, I’d love to have one. I’m sure you know more about it than I do. I’ve not driven a new Mustang, only one I have is my ‘66 coupe. This is probably much, better than the Camaro SS, but I haven’t driven that either.

@ShepperdW are you kidding me, how can you call the 370z over priced? it beats cars costing twice as much, such as the porsche cayman s. that’s like calling the nissan gtr and corvette zr1 overpriced.

The 370z DOES not beat the Cayman S. Sorry.

@sdlausen you’re right, it doesn’t. but it gets pretty close from a performance standpoint, and it still costs nearly $30,000 less.

@coolerdude44 I’m with you on that. I’m not a big Porsche fan just because their cars performance per dollar value is astronomically high. There are so many cars out there that completely spank them for far less money. I suppose you just pay for the brand.

why dont the American designers use the suspension the ford falcons use in Australia?? I’m sure the the rear suspension architecture on a Ford Falcon GT is a lot better than the shelby’s

not yet hopefully they will dump it for the next generation plat form. there are rumors that they want to sell the mustang world wide, the rest of the world is not as excepting as ‘Mericans when it comes to out-dated car technology.

actually check again it depends on the track but on some tracks for sure the track pack Z is beating the Cayman I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

However they are very close and it could have been drivers.

@sidewayznut2009 I have to admit that you’re wrong. The Cayman S is slightly faster than the 370z Nismo. The Z is very impressive considering it’s about half the price. The Z is also my favorite of the two, but it just doesn’t quite have enough to beat the Cayman. Type this into the youtube search bar:
